Gemma and Nicky met at Sheffield University whilst studying languages and architecture back in 2000. After playing in numerous other bands, the duo combined their musical passion to produce music together that provokes, soothes and crystallises life.

2020 saw the release of their debut single, a paired-back, atmospheric cover of Joy Division’s, “Love will tear us apart”.

Their self-titled album was released in May 2021 - an alluring soundscape, filled with the ebb and flow of friends, family, life and loss.

Working with well-known producer and multi-instrumentalist Gerry Diver, their second album, “Now I Swim” is to be released in Spring 2025.

With hauntingly beautiful melodies, intricate guitar work and evocative lyrics, “Now I Swim” delves deep into the human experience, weaving tales of resilience and hope that transcend time and place. Drawing from their own family history and the collective memory of others, this album promises to resonate with listeners on a deeply emotional level.

Having hit the airwaves following the release of their debut album “Lost Chimes”, the band’s growing popularity and listenership on local, national and international radio signify the ringing in of their second album.
